This Is Worst Than When Aniston and Pitt Broke Up...Kind Of

It's true-our favorite gay from the RZ Crew is going out to make it on his own. And we have complete and total faith in him! Listen, I want you to watch season 1 of RZP and then watch season 3. Now that you've watched them, can you believe how far Brad has come since then!? It's ba-na-nas. He cried every episode [no thanks to that Taylor girl], and now he's so confident! Our little Brad is all grown up. We will definitely miss him on RZP [bring on more Joey footage!] but I'm thinking we haven't seen the last of Brad Goreski. Here's hoping for a show of his own [that means you, Andy Cohen. Get to work on it.]

Unlike Taylor, Brad and Rach are still on good terms.
He left with her blessing and she tweeted that it was a
"bitter sweet but happy ending".
How cute are they?

Oy Fey!

Andy Cohen + Tina Fey = MAZEL x 10

Tina Fey is going to be on Watch What Happens Live this Thursday @ 10 after the RHODC finale [hootie hoo]! You can submit questions and watch her answer them live-but only the good ones, so make them clever/funny/witty/not lame.

Other important Bravomation:

TC Just Desserts tonight! Watch Seth go n-n-n-nuts and see if the rumor about Malika leaving is true or just another A-Cohen scheme to get us to watch. Let's be real though-it doesn't take much to get me to watch.

RHOA will be premiering Monday, October 4 [which happens to be my birthday] @ 9/8c

Albie is still single, I still miss Brad, and Rachel has dumped her signature wavy locks for a more sleek look [see picture with Joe Zee below. Do you like?]

Monday, September 27, 2010

So I just watched TC Just Desserts last night-blame it on my busy week of exams, class, internship, work and the gym.

It's time for this week's dish on dessert-so I'm pretty sure the oven fumes are getting to Seth. He went ba-na-nas, but not in the good Rachel Zoe way, more like Kelly talking about 'being a cook, not a chef' way. Okay-I can understand that the Quickfire Challenge [penny candy inspired dessert] was for his mother, and when he failed, he took it harder than usual, but really Seth, get a grip. The guest judge, Elizabeth Falkner, had to hug it out with him. The Elimination Challenge was to make a dessert inspired by a cocktail. What, no SkinnyGirl Margarita? What kind of Bravo show is this? The cheftestants got to do some bar tending for their ingredients. So if Seth's previous breakdown wasn't enough, he had to get behind the bar and act like an angry alcoholic. I know I've mentioned it before, but seriously-I love Zac. How stinking adorable is he? And he even helped out Seth-the-Spastic. And what does Seth do? Bumps into Zac's tray of chocolate squares. Way to go, Seth, way to go. I also like Yigit, because his name is Yigit. Enough said.

Congratulations to Danielle for the QF win with her dirt pudding inspired dish and to Erica for her Elimination Challenge win with her Margarita Bombe!
Be sure to tune in this Wednesday @ 10/9c

PS: Would it be totally lame to dress up as different Real Housewives for Halloween?

Top Chef Season 8: The All-Stars are Among Us

When we found out they were doing an All-Stars season of Top Chef, we peed our pants. Best idea ever [Mazel to Andy Cohen]. I was so hoping they would bring Jeff and his beautiful blonde locks back from season 5, but no luck, although they did bring back the lovable Italian Fabio from that season, along with Carla [hootie hoo]. I'm so pumped to see Richard back and cooking because I think he was totally robbed out of winning. Marcel is back, and I'm expecting him to bring the drama to the kitchen. And let's not forget our favorite Texan-Chef, Tiffany-praise the Lord, the South has risen again!

Here's the full list of cheftestants:

Elia Aboumrad; Season 2, final four

Stephen Asprinio; Season 1, top five

Richard Blais; Season 4 finalist

Jennifer Carroll; Season 6, final four

Tiffany Derry; Season 7, top five

Tiffani Faison; Season 1 finalist

Carla Hall; Season 5 finalist

Mike Isabella; Season 6, top seven

Jamie Lauren; Season 5, top seven

Dale Levitski; Season 3 finalist

Dale Talde; Season 4, top six

Casey Thompson; Season 3 finalist and Fan Favorite

Marcel Vigneron; Season 2 finalist

Fabio Viviani; Season 5, final four and Fan Favorite

Tre Wilcox; Season 3, top eight

And here are my predictions for the final 3:

The Manzos Look to the Matchmaker for Love

Statement: Albie and Chris Manzo are going to be on season 4 of Millionaire Matchmaker.

Question [er-Questions]: Are Albie and Chris Millionaires? Or did they get special Bravolebrity privileges for being a Manzo? Or because their parents are millionaires, does that make them millionaires by default?

Statement: This is one time that I hope Patti fails. Correction: I hope she half fails. I don't care about Chris.

Question: Why was I not set up with Albie?

Statement: Albie is still single, so looks like he didn't find his dream girl. Good. [Keep looking for me Albie, I'm waiting]

Check out Millionaire Matchmaker premiering October 19th @ 10/9c
Patti is taking over NYC, one lonely [but wealthy] heart at a time

"Am I Turning Into Taylor?"

Is it really over already? I feel like it just came on. No more Zoe-isms, or Zoe-M-G moments, or Rodger being a moody housewife, or BRAD! Noooo. Listen Andy Cohen-give Brad his own show and let it be year round. Okay-thanks. Speaking of Brad, I wonder who his boyfriend is? I totally hope it's Joey.

So this was the last episode of the season and I'm so mahjorly bummed, so much so that it's lit-rally on another Anne Hathaway showed up! I love seeing celebrities out of their element. Like when you see a teacher outside of school. It's like seeing a dog walk on it's hind legs. Rachel got to go to the Met Ball with Marc Jacobs and his dress. We got to see just how super thin she is. You could count her ribs. I'm not a doctor, but I'm going to say that's no bueno. She needs to skip the coffee and dive right into the bagels.

We saw Rach and Rodg go to the woman doctor. How gay did Rodg look in that yellow plaid shirt, chains, and Justin Bieber hair? Honestly, no fooling, Brad dresses more straight then Rodg. I think there is seriously something wrong with that. Zoe-M-G! Is Brad dating Rodg?! Twist for next season!

But seriously, Rach and Rodg talked about the babe..y once again, but as far as I know, nothing has happened as of the present. I do know that they are still happily together thanks to my compulsive Twitter habit that I can't seem to shake. I I I'm sorry, I n-n-need my Zoe Camp hit of Tweets.

Well it's time we said ciao [that's foreign for 'bye']!

Headlines Don't Sell Papes, Brad Goreski Sell Papes

Our favorite gay from Rachel Zoe's gaggle of gays was on the cover of the NYTIMES Style Section this morning!

How adorable is he? We're so proud of him! Take that Taylor.

Who else caught the RZP marathon this morning? It was mayjor.

Can never have too many Zoe-isms.

Happy Sunday!

May Induce Drooling

So I just got to watch Top Chef: Just Desserts last night. I know, I know. I'm like way behind and I feel like a hypocrite because I was raving about how stoked I was for the premiere. Listen, my roommate made cookies and I got distracted and missed it. Can you blame me? I missed Just Desserts for a dessert. I think that justifies it. She made little doozies, and they rocked my world [I think she's putting up the recipe on her blog so check it out:].

Okay, so I love Zac-he's hilarious. Already have my fan favorite. Plus, he spells his name like Zac Efron. And that scores major points for him. Speaking of Zefron, did you see his perv beard/stach/soul patch look going on? Why Zac, why? Maybe he's trying to scare Vanessa off so that we can be together. Oh yeah-Bravo.

The quickfire was to make a cupcake of their signature dishes. I love cupcakes. I feel like these so-called "pastry chefs" would be able to make a cupcake, but apparently not all of them can. Congrats to Seth for winning with his basil cupcake! Such a weird twist of flavors, but it looked delicious. I think Seth will be a top contender, but we'll see what happens.

The elimination challenge was to make a decadent chocolate dessert. A lot of the chefs acted like using chocolate was the worst, but isn't that like the most common ingredient in desserts? Tania's dessert was uh-gooey, but not in that warm gooey brownie way. Maybe she should have had flour in her flourless torte. I think we all knew who was being sent home. Mazel to Heather H. for winning with her Dark Chocolate Mousse Torte-it looked mega delicious.

We have another Texan to root for-Morgan. Too bad he's a douchebag. Don't blame Texas upbringing though, because he's originally from California [no offense]. We are trying our best to make a Southern gentleman out of him, give us time.

Looking forward to next week! Bring on the dessert loving!

Tag-We're It

So the lovely Taylor from The In's and Out's of Sometimes Having It All tagged us in a post. Our job is to answer the questionnaire that came with it and tag a few other bloggers. It's pretty much fashion based, and well we aren't a fashion blog [unless Rachel Zoe counts?], but we do love clothes.
So here we go:

1. Why did you start blogging:

We always talked about Bravo to each other and we were like "Hey-we should blog about this stuff". So we decided to check out the other Bravo blogs, or uh-blog, and realized that we were needed. And welp, here we are.

2.Do you prefer Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter?

Mallory: Personally, I like both. Spring/Summer means that florals are back and summer dresses are in stock. I also like Autumn/Winter because I love my needed purchase of new Gap jeans. Also, I love the comfy, cozy feel of the season with the more rich colors that go with nudes. Oh and I have an obsession with boots so that definitely factors in.

Kathryn: Can I pick Spring/Autumn? I love Spring because it means bright colors, new life, and Easter egg hunts! But then Autumn is cardigan weather and nothing beats a cloudless day that contains a Winter weather teaser while you sip on your Nonfat Toffee Nut Latte-now that's a good day.

3. What did you notice first: Smokey eye makeup or bright lips?

Mallory: Smokey eye makeup because the eyes are the first thing that I focus on when I see someone.

Kathryn: Smokey eye makeup-hands down. Killer eye makeup should be a necessity.

4. Who are your style icons?

Mallory: Okay, okay so I have to say Brad Goreski, his bowties, and stellar glasses make me want to dress just like him - or have a friend that dresses like him. I also have to say that I love classy women like Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn.

Kathryn: Here's a shocker-Rachel Zoe. I love her effortlessness that translates into awesomeness. Oh-and Mr. Rogers because he always had a new cardigan.

5. Describe your personality in 3 words.

Mallory: organized, "Ramotional," joyful

Kathryn: sarcastic, thoughtful, laidback

6. If you had to leave the house with only one item of make-up what would it be?

Mallory: my BareMinerals foundation

Kathryn: Mascara-and that's all I'm going to say about that

7. Which era do you think influenced fashion the most?

Mallory: Currently, the 1950s era is influencing fashion and I'm loving it!

Kathryn: I think it has all built on each other. The 40s had classic pieces that are timeless, the 60s were just amazing-that's where that bedhead, carefree look came from, and the 80s were just good all around-big hair, dramatic makeup, pushing the limits on fashion, and the music just made it that much better.

8. What beauty item do you always repurchase?

Mallory: BareMinerals makeup.

Kathryn: Covergirl LashBlast Luxe Mascara

You guys are tagged!

Michaele Salahi's Shocking Secret

Looks like the Real Housewives of D.C., Michaele Salahi, has a another story up her sleeve. Unfortunately, this story isn't as juicy as all the drama in the past. It's rather saddening and truly heartbreaking to hear.
As I was consuming my daily dose of today, I checked out Michaele Salahi Reveals: I Have Multiple Sclerosis. I think the article is self-explanatory so definitely go check it out.

M & K

"Who Do You Love More?"

Who got Rodger's panties in a wad? He needed to pull it out of his buttcrack and lighten up. I usually side with babe..uh-Rodger..but this episode I definitely felt for Brad and Rach. When they were filming the Zoeinator video [which is mahjor-ly hilarious. Check it out below] I thought Rodg hit the wall going 90. The Zoe camp was doing something fun for a change but he was all PMSing on them. I could kind of understand why he was getting frustrated but he took it way too far. He had a heart-to-heart with Brad, and patched things up with Rachel's other boo.

Brad and Jordan did a photoshoot for Zico coconut water [ew-no thanks] and Molly Sims all on their own. And it was kind of a disaster at first. Brad blushed more than a prostitute in church. Wait-that's not the saying is it? Just go with it. But they pulled it together and whipped something gorgeous out. The photographer was kind of crazy, am I right or am I right?

We also got to see Rachel go grocery shopping, which was totally bananas. I think she is the only person that wears sunglasses and leopard print fur to the store, other than that one-legged homeless man down the street. She had to bring along backup, which is a classic RZ move. She then kind of cooked for her family, the fashion one and the biological one, for Passover Seder [never heard of it]. Did she really wear a cape to cook in? Yes, yes she did. Joey and Rachel had a heart-to-heart as well, and we discovered Rach's real fear of having a baby. She's being realistic, and I think that causes one to be more fearful sometimes. I mean, she is older and not the healthiest looking woman [eat some Kosher gravy] so I can understand why she would be concerned, but there are so many success stories that you can't just listen to the failed attempts. Or they should just listen to me and adopt Brad.

Next week is the season finale and I am so bummed. I need my favorite bow-tie wearing gorgeous gay guy on a weekly basis. Not okay. Tune in next Tuesday @ 10/9c!

Oh! Don't forget: Top Chef season finale hits the tube tonight @ 10/9c and stay tuned after for TC:Just Desserts!

Jafar and Danielle: Separated at Birth?

I can't even tell them apart!

So we were watching Aladdin on ABC Family this weekend [you were too, huh?], when Mallory pointed out that Jafar and Danielle look alike, and I couldn't argue with that one. Plus, their personalities are dead on with each other. You know, I bet Jafar had an eyebrow lift too...

Are You Hungry Because It's [Almost] Time for Dessert

So can I just say that I am so super excited for Top Chef: Just Desserts!
[Like real excited]
And it premieres this Wednesday after the Top Chef finale!
[I don't know who I want to win-I'm conflicted]
So definitely stay for dessert!
[now I want some peanut butter cookies, or cheesecake, or brownies, or ice cream...]

Danielle Update [is kind of lame]

So has an article about Danielle's reasons for leaving the show. I still think they didn't ask her back, because well she's real kookadoodledoo. But check out the article to read her side of the story I guess:
This investigation is not over for me, I'm still going to hunt down the truth.
And I will not stop until I find it!! That was a little bit dramatic.
Maybe I should've gone with one exclamation mark.

Pay attention, puh-lease.

The Ultimate Male Challenge

Part one of Top Chef's season seven finale didn't disappoint. The semi-finalists brought the heat to Singapore using their creative edge to impress the judges. Angelo's passion for food was more evident then ever, Kevin kicked it up a notch, Kelly tasted all of her foreign foods, and Ed just rocked it out. But like every other episode, one cheftestant had to go. Although the chefs were overall impressed with their exotic meals, they the chose to elimate the sole woman, Kelly. Her cucumber concoction just didn't cut it for the judges. Even before the judges announced the winner (which was Ed - who also won the final Quickfire challenge and gained immunity) Angelo was extremely upset to the point where he began to cry! Oh Angelo, your passion for food is just so incredible! I would love for him to make me a meal one day...I'm sure it would be out of this world.

So even though Kelly had to leave us, I'm super excited about the final episode. This season has defintely had some surprises and let-downs (I still love you, Tiff) but nonetheless I'm addicted!

Watch the Top Chef Washington D.C. part two season finale as they continue to take on Singapore next Wednesday, September 15 @ 10/9 c. Will their dishes be Asian-friendly or Asian-foe?

Oy Veh!

Best news of the day:

Our favorite Jewish gay Bravo SVP funny guy is back!
Tonight @ 10

and Ben Weiner is going to be there! hootie hoo!

90210 Moment=Mah-jor Problem

RZP had some banana moments last night. The tension between Rach and Rodg was a little wackadoodle. Rodg plays the part of the lonely housewife too well. Maybe he should be on RHOBH?? But please Rach, come on, have a kid for your boo. I think they should just adopt Brad and call it a day.

We got to see Rachel and Brad styling some figure skater, Johnny Weir. I have to agree with Brad, Jonny did make him look masculine. Weir is so skinny, it's like Rachel thin. Give him a sandwich. I was happy for Brad though. Johnny called him when he was having styling problems [see 90210 Brenda-Kelly spring fling dress moment to experience exact feeling of trauma], not Rach. I think it gave Brad that little boost of confidence he needed.

Finally the Oscar dress hunt is over. Rachel pulled through another year. All of her clients looked mahjor. Demi Moore's dress killed it. And I have to say that that was the best Cameron Diaz has looked at an award's show in a long time.

So mazel to the RZ crew!

In case you missed their looks, here are Demi and Cameron's Oscar gowns:

Ding Dong the Witch is Dead

Last night was weird. Yeah-I'm pretty sure that's the best word I can use to describe it. Maybe super weird would be a better choice? Okay-here goes my attempt to strategically describe the RHONJ reunion show part deux.

Let's break it all down from strange to stranger to strangest moments:

Danielle's outfit
Andy Cohen's socks
Caroline acting like a genie

Danielle talking about her sex life [is she into men or women??]
Kim G showing up
Danielle pulling out a head with hair extensions
Andy Cohen pulling said head of hair

Danielle hugging Teresa
Danielle hugging Jacqueline and whispering sweet nothings into her ear
Danielle shaking Caroline's hand

So that pretty much summed up the reunion show part dos. I think we can see what the common denominator is: Danielle. Now divide 3 housewives, add an Andy Cohen, and subtract a Danielle Staub because she's gone. Yeah-you heard [ahem-read] right, the reunion was Danielle's last Bravo appearance. Cue music.

So what's next for the Jersey housewives? We haven't heard much of anything yet, but when we find out more information, you can bet that you will find it here. I have some investigating to do...maybe I should call up Danielle's PI?

In case you missed out on the awkward hugger, feel free to see for yourself:

Monday, September 6, 2010

Monday is here again and it comes bringing our favorite NJ ladies. RHONJ Reunion Part 2 is tonight! Be sure to tune in and see what the infamous Kim G has to say and if Andy Cohen can survive this.

So get your Jersey on and watch
tonight @ 9/8c

Bravo: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

The Good:

-Lea Michelle stated in the October issue of Glamour magazine that she loves Bravo, especially Top Chef and RHONJ. So she get's a mazel from us!
[side note: can't wait for the new season of Glee! hootie hoo!]
-I made meatballs using Caroline Manzo's recipe, and they were delicious. Check it out here
-Top Chef won an Emmy
-Albie Manzo is still reportedly single

The Bad:

-Tiffany Derry had to pack her knives and go on Top Chef this week [another loss for the South. At least we have sweet tea and NASCAR]
-Bethenny Frankel will not be returning to the RH of New York [before you go all Ramotional on us, Andy Cohen wants her back for a second season of Bethenny Getting Married? They should change it to "Bethenny Staying Clothed?"] Check out the article for her reasons for leaving [ahem-Kelly]
-Lynn Curtin was not asked back for season 6 of the RH of Orange County [I'm going to miss her cuffs, drunkeness, expressionless face and bratty kids]. If you want to read the article, click here
-Real Housewives of DC is still lame

And The Ugly:

My Big Gay Italian Wedding

Our favorite Jersey wives have another hit show-but on Broadway this time! We mentioned this in an earlier post, but now that it has premiered and it's all I've been hearing about from Twitter to the Today Show, I just wanted to say that I'm real bummed that I can't see it. It's not fair. So to everyone who can see it, I'm super jealous. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

For those like ourselves who can't see the show, this picture will have to suffice for now.
This sucks.

Top Chef Takes a Turn for the Worst

Alright so last night's Top Chef episode was all about astronauts and freeze-dried food. Yum...uh more like yuck! I'm going to give you the good news first and then announce the bad news :(

Good News
The judges agreed that the last five chefs performed fantastically!
I think this was the most intense episode so far. Also, this episode's guest judge is one of my favorite chefs/world traveler, Anthony Bourdain.

Bad News
After a tough deliberation, the judges had to eliminate my favorite cheftestant, Tiffany Derry. She was my fellow Texas native from Beaumont. She has such a great attitude and joyful spirit. Confession: when she was eliminatedfrom the competition last night I cried. I've never cried watching Top Chef so that was definitely a first time experience. I wish her the best and much continued success.
I love you Tiff! Happy newlywed life!

Beverly Hills, That's Where I Don't Want To Be

We've been putting off this post, probably because we aren't too excited about it. But here it goes: RHOBH. Yep-Beverly Hills is getting Real. Another California RH. Isn't OC enough?? It's the original and one of my favorite RH and I just don't feel like BH was needed. I guess we'll be seeing some more over-tan, blonde, big bubbied, Botoxed women. But hey-we might be surprised and love this one. On the positive, it won't take much for it to be better than DC.

We still think that there should be a Texas one because who doesn't love Southern women? Everything's bigger in Texas, from the hair to the heart [and let's not forget the food]. So we're waiting Andy Cohen, we're waiting.

Kate + Rachel = Mah-jor.

How perfect is this timing: It's Rachel Zoe's birthday today! Send her a happy birthday tweet!
Who else watched the RZP marathon yesterday?? Love it when Bravo does that. It's like they know I want to watch RZP all day and get zero accomplished. It also reminded me of how different the show is now without Taylor. Geez-Rachel put up with a lot from her. Glad she peaced out of there.

Onto last night's episode-Kate Hudson showed up! And she can sing! Mind blown. I adore her-she is too cute. She brought out a Rachel that we don't see often. She was so upbeat and as carefree as RZ can be I guess. Kate even pressured Rachel with the whole baby situation. Poor Rodger-he just couldn't win. Are tensions rising in the Berman Home? It really should be the Zoe home, but I felt bad for Rodger, so I gave it his name. I'm nice like that. Ain't I nice? Oh wait-wrong show. So I LOVE Rachel's hair/makeup guy, Joey Maalouf. Can he be a regular? And can I be friends with him? And more importantly, can he do my hair/makeup? So after Rachel's sidetrip to see Kate and the Burberry show [which was killer-the military look is fierce], she headed to Milan for some more fashion shows and to meet Donatella Versace, the Madonna of fashion, as Brad refers to her as. She's a fashion goddess and has paved the way for trends for years. No one can touch her. So I probably shouldn't say this, but I mean this is the nicest way possible, but she kind of looks like Voldemort. But she can design the heck out of clothes, so that makes her beautiful.
Favorite moment of the episode: Brad calling the Zoe crew a 'gaggle of gays'. Genius.

The Zoe Camp is still on the hunt for Oscar dresses. I'm interested to see how it goes down. I already ruined the Marchesa dress story for you guys, but I'll hold out on telling you what they end up getting.

Love the Zoe-isms.
